The Tutu Tango

"The Tutu Tango" - 12 x 24 oil
It will soon be time to "tango!" Next week I take 22 paintings from my studio in Colorado to Minnesota for a large two-person exhibition at the world renown University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. This show has been in the making for nearly two years and it is exciting to know that reality fast approaching. It is also nerve wracking because it is challenging to try to image what the final exhibition will look like and how people will respond to our work. The show is based on showing viewers how two artists interpret the same subject (florals and landscape of the Arboretum) and create uniquely different paintings.

"The Tutu Tango" is inspired by the many cone flowers that are found around the grounds of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
